  1. Hi Darcy, my name is Daniela and I discovered your great work on Facebook. I love henna myself and also do henna but only as a hobby right now. I do want to become a henna artist and make money with it, I just don’t know quite how to go about it because I’m still kind of slow. It would mean a lot to me if you can give me any advice on how to get my own style and what are the steps to start a henna business because I love it so much that I really want to make a living with this. I would really appreciate the time you take to answer me, you are an inspiration to me! Sincerely, Daniela Padilla

    • Thanks so much for your message Daniela. I would suggest reading as many books as you can on how to run a small business or maybe studying business administration at your local university. As for the henna artistry part, it is said that it takes a minimum of 10,000 hours to become a master at something, so practice as much as you can and don’t worry about style for now. Your style will start to emerge over time. Thanks again for your interest! Good luck and happy hennaing!

  2. Hi Darcy, my name is Kiran Singh and all I have to say is WOW!! your designs are amazing and so inspirational it really makes me want to grab a cone and do this as well. I love doing henna its just a hobby and a stress reliever for me. If you don’t mind I would like to talk to you about a small business that I do here in Saint Louis and to me it seems like you are the best person to speak to.

  3. I just saw your cake on the Cake Central website and I absolutely loved it. It was a stunning design and the piping was exquisite. I immediately wanted to see what else you did and am so awed by your work. It’s just beautiful.

    • Hi Carla! Thanks for your question. Natural henna is safe to use during pregnancy. But please make sure your artist is using henna they make themselves. The ingredients should be henna leaf powder, sugar, water/lemon juice, steam-distilled essential oils. Just yesterday I did a big design on a nurse, I’ll post the picture later today! Thanks again for your interest! Did you see any of the belly pictures I posted in the “hipster henna” section?

  4. I was interested in getting a henna for my birthday just for fun, would that be possible? If so, please let me know how I can make an appointment an possibly a price range. Thank you! – Emily

  5. Hi Darcy, my name is Yasra Syed. I’m very interested in your products, I was wondering if you sell pre-made henna in cones? I live in the bay area, very close to SF?

  6. Hi Darcy, i loved your blog and designs… I read that you are using essential oils, I am also a Mehndi artist from India and I have now moved to Sydney, so I am concern about the allergy aspect of the oils, can you please tell me which essential oils do you use?
